Requirements The Senator must: •Care about representing and contributing their time and talent to the Hunter College community. •Be matriculated in a degree or credit-bearing certificate program at Hunter College as an undergraduate or graduate student maintaining, at least, a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Responsibilities Include, but not limited to: •Developing a rapport with the Hunter College Community, especially fellow students. •Attending plenary, student caucus, and committee meetings (minimum ten hours per month) Perks Those that fulfill their responsibilities will: •Be given priority registration for classes. •Have opportunity for personal and professional development via activities, events, and programs •Have a say and impact on Hunter College Interview You may be contacted before being elected via email and/or phone for a short interview process.
