Public Safety maintains a Lost & Found at Room West 213. This office is not manned by a Public Safety Officer on a continuous basis.

Please complete the Lost & Found request form and it will be sent to the Lost & Found custodian. Please make sure that you provide a telephone number and as much detail as possible, such as color, brand, type of item or any identifying marks. Public Safety will ONLY call you if the lost item is in our possession.

This Lost & Found request is ONLY for items lost at the main campus and surrounding buildings. For all Lost & Found inquiries of items lost at a satellite campus, please see a Public Safety representative at the respective location.

Due to the high volume of requests submitted to Lost & Found, you
will ONLY be contacted if your item is turned in to our department. If we do not contact you, it means your item was NOT turned into the Lost & Found department.

Clothing will only be held for 7 days due to health reasons.
All Hunter College ID’s will be held for 30 days.
All other items will be held for 60 days
All Lost & Found Property forms will be held for 60 days.
