A complete MARC application consists of the application, personal statement, and two Hunter Science Faculty recommendations. Transfer students must also submit transcripts from any previous college. All items are to be submitted by the deadline date. Applicant must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Instructions for Recommendation Letters: Applicants are encouraged to request early for recommendation letters from faculty as well as provide faculty with the deadline date. Applicants instruct recommenders to complete the recommendation form found on the MARC website or by contacting the MARC office.

The goal of the National MARC program is to increase the number of scientists who are from underrepresented minority groups (African-American, Hispanic American, Alaskan Natives, native American, and Pacific Islanders). Explain how your career goals and participation in the program will help the MARC program achieve its goal. Please include why are you interested in research as a career (i.e. include any past experience or exposure to research).
